A software package primarily meant for accounting, like QuickBooks, can work well for a business when they are small and do not have very complex requirements. But if you’re growing beyond the basics and you need a system that incorporates and runs all areas of your business in synchronicity, then it’s time to begin evaluating a true ERP system that will scale alongside your processes and offer flexibility for future changes.

Once created it must be agreed on and signed off on so all expectations are set. This will include the deliverables of the Project, a calendar of milestones and regularly occurring status meetings, and updates on budget versus actual spend. This will ultimately outline the vision and scope of the system implementation.
